When using a spray gun, the work efficiency decreases compared to airless spraying, but it minimizes paint loss, allowing for painting with a small amount of paint. Additionally, while the types of paint that can be used are limited, the paint particles sprayed are finer than those in airless painting, resulting in a beautiful finish. Airless spray is a method that atomizes the paint under pressure without using air, spraying it in a mist. It is specialized for achieving thicker film thickness and painting large products. On the other hand, air spray simultaneously injects air and atomized paint for painting. The particles of the atomized paint are fine, allowing for uniform and beautiful painting. However, due to the high amount of overspray, the transfer efficiency is lower.
